A Very Busy Start to 2012
This has been one busy month for Kids Ministry.
We have started a new Sunday night class, NiteLife.
NiteLife has it all; large group games, small group Bible study, and worship and prayer time.
This is a high energy class that leads into a quiet group time for Bible teaching. And our night couldn't be finished in any better way than around the altar worshipping.
If you haven't checked out NiteLife we start @ 6:00 Sunday nights and end @ 7:00. We have small groups for ages 3 through 6th grade.
AND..... on Wednesday nights from 7:00 - 8:00 we have another new group of classes, GROWING.
Every Wednesday night we have a full family worship in the main Sanctuary. We sing and pray together starting at 7:00. Right after worship we head to our separate GROWING classes for a time of Bible Study. These are great new age-segregated classes where the children use their Bibles to learn and grow in the Word of God.
And as always CrazyTown Kids Church meets every Sunday morning at 10:30 right after our prayer time and ministry class, Un-Hindered.
There's lots of great things for your children @ My Church!

Sunday, December 11, 2011 What a Day!
Sunday was such a wonderful day in Kids Church.
After acting out Jesus' birth from the Scriptures we had a message about leading a life of worship.
A life of worship is a life fully devoted to God; every part of it.
The wise men set that example for us in the Bible. They spent their lives waiting and watching for the coming Messiah. And they traveled to find Him. When they found Jesus they worshipped.
Matthew 2:2
Where is the one who has been born King of the Jews? We saw his star in the east and have come to worship him.
How beautiful! Our lives should be lived in a state of constant worship for the One who came so that we may come to Him.
Sunday morning, three little ones decided they wanted to live that life of worship and follow the One.
How blessed we are each time we get to witness new birth for Christ.
And the show Sunday night was just so wonderful!
Thank you all who helped and also to those who worked with your children to help them do such a Super job!
May you be blessed,
Ms. Heather

Coming this Sunday!
A Charlie Brown Christmas is this Sunday night @ 6:00.
In order to be ready we need to practice immediately following the morning service.
Please send a sack lunch and their costume with them to church Sunday morning.
We'll feed them lunch following our morning service and practice until 4:00.
Plan to pick them up @ 4:00 to prepare them for the show.
Bring them back dressed and ready no later than 5:30.
We would also like to serve cookies and drinks after the show Sunday evening.
If you would be willing to make a batch of cookies to help out that would be super!
Please email or message me if you plan to bring cookies.
thanks for all you do,
Ms. Heather

Did you know that God showed us a foretaste of Christmas in Genesis?
The children and I explored the story of Abraham and Isaac. Abraham never actually had to sacrifice his son as a burnt offering, but God did choose to sacrifice His Son..... for us.
How beautiful is His Love for us that He knew we would need help getting to heaven.
That Help is what we celebrate this season.
Every time you see the colors red and green this season think of that Help, Jesus Christ.
Think on His sacrifice, the red blood that He shed for us.
And when you see your green trimmings, think on the new life we can only obtain through belief in Him.
Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sins of the world. John 1:29
How blessed we are to be called sons and daughters of the Most High!
This is what Christmas is....acknowledging the arrival of that sacrifice and the pouring out of His love for us.
In His love,
Ms. Heather
